A Strong Network for Europe
There are many people and organizations, like us, who are committed to a strong Europe. That’s why we regularly exchange ideas with other pro-European institutions at the regional, national, and European levels. The goal is to share ideas and concerns from the regional level and to collaboratively explore and address European areas of interest.

Partners & Supporters
Thanks to everyone who supported us in the founding of the European Academy Inntal e.V. and who continues to support us today. This is by no means a given, and we, as volunteers, truly appreciate it. As a non-profit association, we rely on this support — after all, a project like this cannot be managed alone.
In particular, we would like to thank:
- City of Kufstein and Kufstein District Authority: The founding of the European Academy Inntal was always in close exchange with the city and district authorities — both for advisory purposes and regarding formal establishment matters. The doors were always open for us. Our first activities took place, and continue to take place, in this important and historic border city, in close proximity to Bavaria.
https://www.kufstein.gv.at / https://www.tirol.gv.at/kufstein/ - European Parliament – Liaison Offices Vienna & Munich: The European Parliament is an important partner for us; together, we are “gemeinsamfuer.eu.” The EP has liaison offices in several countries — in Austria in Vienna and in Bavaria in Munich. EP experts keep the media and public informed on all EP-related and European topics. They also provide support for research and event organization.
Vienna EP Office / Munich EP Office / European Parliament - European Academy Vienna: From the very beginning, the European Academy Vienna inspired and supported our initiative to establish a European Academy in western Austria. Like us, the Vienna colleagues see themselves as an adult and youth education organization aiming to bring Europe closer to people and provide information on European topics. Their goal is to promote a pro-European mindset and support the idea of European integration positively.
https://www.europäische-akademie-wien.at/ - Europa-Union Bavaria: We share with Europa-Union Bavaria a non-partisan, pro-European mindset. With 3,500 members, it is the largest regional branch of the Europa-Union in Germany (17,000 members nationwide). Its mission is a “peaceful, democratic, and federal Europe,” regardless of party affiliation, age, or profession. As the European Academy Inntal, we particularly leverage synergies with our partners in the border region, including the Upper Bavaria district association and the Rosenheim county association.
https://eu-bayern.de/ / https://eu-bayern.de/kv-rosenheim/c/allgemein/ - European Federalist Movement / Tyrol (EFB): The EFB is one of Austria’s largest citizen initiatives for Europe. Exchanging ideas on potential regional and supra-regional projects is very enriching, and we look forward to upcoming joint activities. Volunteers of all ages and backgrounds engage in this association to support European unification, similar to the Europa-Union in Germany.
https://efb.at/tirol/ - European Academy Bavaria: On the Bavarian side, the European Academy Bavaria was one of our sources of inspiration. We maintain a friendly and inspiring exchange with its leadership. Their goal is to “promote European integration through education, encounters, and information” while following recognized principles of political education.
https://www.europaeische-akademie.de/bayern - EUth – Association for the Promotion of Youth Individuality in Europe: EUth is an independent, non-partisan platform advocating for Europe. Its goal is to strengthen European awareness nationwide and to create space for genuine citizen dialogue in all federal states to hear diverse perspectives and develop solutions together.
info@euth.at / www.euth.at - Club Alpbach Tyrol: “Europe and Tyrol at Heart” – Club Alpbach Tyrol enables young, committed, open-minded, and critically thinking people to participate annually in the European Forum Alpbach (EFA) through scholarships. Anyone under 30 can apply — a university degree or high school diploma is not required. The scholarship includes accommodation in Alpbach and the ticket to the EFA.
https://www.clubtirol.or.at/ - City of Innsbruck: Thanks also go to the city administration of Innsbruck, which was immediately receptive to our ideas and initiatives. The “Europe Dialogues on the Inn” take place for the first time directly in the city hall and are a symbolic start for further events along the Inn.
https://www.innsbruck.gv.at/ - Pro-Europe Network Munich and Upper Bavaria: A coalition of volunteer, non-partisan organizations in Munich and Upper Bavaria advocating for a sustainable European Union. “We believe that Europeans can shape their future only together and that member states can succeed in asserting their interests and values globally only as a united front. Our network aims to reach as many citizens as possible and to promote debates on the concrete shaping of the EU.”
https://proeuropa-netzwerk.de - Federal Chancellery Initiative: “Europe Starts in the Municipality”: We are pleased to have another strong partner in this cross-party initiative, which currently includes around 1,600 European municipal councilors across all federal states. It is led by the Federal Chancellery, with additional partners including the European Commission representation, the EP Liaison Office, the BMEIA, and the Austrian Association of Municipalities.
https://www.europagemeinderaete.at - Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) Munich and Upper Bavaria: We also have a strong economic partner. The EU advisory network “Enterprise Europe Network” is part of the EU Commission’s overall strategy to promote entrepreneurial initiative and growth in Europe. SMEs across all sectors benefit from the internal market potential. The network includes over 600 organizations with 4,000 staff in 63 countries. In Bavaria, 75 experts from nine organizations support SMEs in cross-border business, EU funding programs, public procurement, market access, and innovation promotion.
